A stop motion video our daughter Jaidyn did on a boring Sunday afternoon.

Jaidyn is doing this series of fashion oriented drawings. I wanted to show them off. I will be working in getting some things on here by the other kids in the next little while.
Vallivue Academy
May 28th, 2010 by: jaidyn

Took pictures for the graduating class of Vallivue Academy, Vallivue school districts alternative school. I was for the most part happy with this picture, and it looks better printed larger.
The front row is misaligned because of someone showing up late to the picture, and the kids getting impatient with me moving them around. Otherwise, I thought it turned out pretty good. I want to do more of this type of thing.
Jump Creek Canyon
May 25th, 2010 by: jaidyn
Our family went to jump creek canyon a few weeks ago for the first time, and I was completely surprised to find out there was a place like this so close to where we live.
I went back yesterday morning at sunrise when there were less (zero actually) people and took some pictures.
It’s interesting to see the difference between what the camera see’s, and what can be done post-capture with digital tools. Here is a before and after.
BEFORE
AFTER
Jump Creek canyon is a beautiful oasis – but watch out for the poison ivy – in the middle of a sagebrush forest. Very neat place to visit
Baseball Season Comes to a Close
May 22nd, 2010 by: jaidyn
Despite having bad weather almost every game, its a little bit sad to see Caleb’s baseball season come to a close. This was by far the best year he has had playing baseball. He learned more than he ever knew about how to play, and he really seems to enjoy it. He is already looking forward to next year. He was one of the young ones on his team this year at nine years old. Next year he will be a veteran at ten.
The league had a season ending tournament this weekend, and I thought it would be fun to try some ‘action’ photography. We gave a small photo to each of the parents as a simple way to give something back to the team. If I could figure out a good way to market pictures like these, it could probably be pretty lucrative. It’s all in the marketing.
